The team clinched their promotion by defeating Anagenisi Karditsas 1-0 with a goal from Koursta in the 90th minute of the match. This victory was crucial as it combined with a draw from Niki Volou, ensuring that Hercules mathematically secured its position within the top tier of Greek football.
With three games remaining in the Super League 2 playoffs (1st group), Hercules currently holds a nine-point lead over Anagenisi Karditsas.
