Foodora has announced that its operations in Finland have officially come to an end, marking a significant change in the local food delivery landscape. In a statement released on Saturday, the company expressed gratitude to its customers for their support throughout the years. The announcement confirmed that as of Saturday, Foodora's commercial services are no longer operational. However, users can still access the application and website for customer support and to request refunds for any outstanding credits.

In line with their closure strategy, the company assured that all customers will be refunded for any unused funds related to discount codes and purchased gift cards, as well as a proportional share of subscription fees that may have been collected. Foodora stated their goal is to process all payment refunds by March 31. Nonetheless, expired discount codes will not be refunded in cash, nor will there be reimbursements for completed service fees or tips paid on fulfilled orders, pointing to potential dissatisfaction among some users.
