When police arrived at the scene in the Moura Brasil neighborhood, they confirmed both the traffic accident and the looting of the goods that had fallen from the trucks. The authorities noted that the section of the highway where the incident took place is overseen by the Federal Highway Police. Critically, by the time law enforcement reached the site, the culprits responsible for the theft had already fled, leaving no suspects apprehended.
