The city of Florianópolis has published a decree that establishes specific areas and times for dog owners to take their pets to two popular beaches: Campeche and Ingleses. Each beach has a designated area of 200 meters where dogs are permitted to roam, with restrictions on when they can be present. The Campeche area is located near Rua Radialista Dakir Polidoro, while the designated section in Ingleses is closer to Morro das Feiticeiras.

Owners can bring their dogs to the designated areas of the beaches during specific hours: before 9 AM and after 5 PM. To ensure a safe environment for all beachgoers, several rules will be enforced. Dog owners must have their pets wear identification collars with the owner's name and phone number, present an updated vaccination card, and provide proof of regular deworming. Additionally, dogs must be accompanied by an adult owner who is at least 18 years of age.

This decision comes as part of an effort to balance pet ownership with the enjoyment of public spaces. The regulation aims to promote responsible pet ownership while allowing dog lovers in Florianópolis to enjoy the beautiful beach environment alongside their furry companions.
