Igor Dobeš, an acclaimed farmer from Czechia, emphasizes the importance of flavorful meat and sustainable farming practices as he reflects on his longstanding family farm.
Igor Dobeš, a 45-year-old farmer from Valašsko, has been cultivating his land since 2006, and together with his wife Monika, they run Střítežské fojtství, a farm that won the title of the best eco-farm in the Czech Republic last year. This feat was followed by a commendable fourth place in the Farm of the Year competition. Dobeš looks to pass down the ancestral land, which has been in the family's care since the 17th century, in the best possible condition for future generations. His family represents the 14th generation of farmers at this historic site.
