How a Finnish Man's Revolver Became Sweden's Most Wanted Weapon

A Finnish revolver, originally purchased for recreational use, is linked to the unsolved murder of Swedish Prime Minister Olof Palme and remains one of the most sought-after weapons in the investigation.

During the investigation of Swedish Prime Minister Olof Palme's murder, the authorities tested 788 different weapons, none of which were confirmed to be the murder weapon, but speculations continued to link the case to Finland. Over the decades, there were numerous tips suggesting that the murder weapon might have been in the possession of Finns before or after the murder. One particular weapon, known as the Mockfjärd revolver, has since gained notoriety as possibly the most wanted firearm in the Palme investigation.
