In addition to his work with Justament and Fix, Vassiljev was a member of several other bands, such as Rosta Aknad, Razor, Temp, Pantokraator, Sven Kullerkupp Band, The Pickups, and Viljo Tamm Band. He had a reputation for versatility and creativity, which hugely enriched the bands' sounds. His collaborations extended to notable artists like Kate, Bonzo, Onu Bella, and many others, showcasing his ability to adapt to different musical styles and projects.
Vassiljev also participated in significant music projects, including musicals at Vanemuine like "Verevennad" (2001) and "Aida" (2003), as well as being part of a tribute concert for Pink Floyd at Leigo Järvemuusikal in 2009.
