AGATA Awards Distributed at the Book Fair: Among the Winners – M. Mikutavičius and Jessica Shy

The AGATA awards were distributed during the Book Fair, highlighting notable achievements in Lithuanian music and design.

During this year's Book Fair in Lithuania, the AGATA awards acknowledged six prominent contributions in various categories, including a special partnership award given to Vilnius Airports for promoting Lithuanian music internationally. This recognition comes as Vilnius Airport also receives the name of the renowned Lithuanian musician, M. K. Čiurlionis, emphasizing the cultural significance of the airport as a gateway for travelers experiencing Lithuanian culture.

Additionally, the Golden Records awards were presented, with notable recipients including the 'Solo ansamblis' for their album 'Scenos' and Marijonas Mikutavičius for his work 'Padavimai apie žmones', with the Golden Record being awarded to recordings that reach 3.5 million listens. The awards ceremony underscored the evolving landscape of the music industry in Lithuania, reflecting a growing recognition of local artists on both national and international stages.

The event also included a traditional competition for the most beautiful album cover of 2025, judged by members of the Lithuanian Design Association's board. This dialogue between music and design strengthens local creative industries and fosters collaboration among artists and designers, showcasing Lithuania's vibrant cultural scene.
