Five injured in Russian attacks on Kherson Oblast
Russian attacks on Kherson Oblast have left five individuals injured, including elderly residents of Bilozerka and Kherson city.
In the latest round of hostilities, Russian attacks in Kherson Oblast have resulted in injuries to five individuals, as reported by local authorities. The attacks included drone strikes in the settlements of Bilozerka and the Dniprovskyi district of Kherson city. Two elderly residents, aged 66 and 68, were injured while outside their home in Bilozerka and were diagnosed with blast injuries and concussion after being taken to the hospital.
Additionally, the Dniprovskyi district was struck by a drone around 14:00, injuring an 80-year-old woman and a 66-year-old man. Both suffered from blast injuries and shrapnel wounds and received immediate medical attention at the scene. The series of attacks continues to highlight the ongoing violence in Ukraine, particularly affecting vulnerable populations such as the elderly.
Moreover, a 37-year-old man from the city of Kherson attended the hospital following an attack in the city center, suffering from blast injuries, concussion, and acute stress reaction. This incident underscores the persistent threat of violence faced by civilians in the region due to the ongoing conflict and the significant impact it has on the local population's mental and physical health.
