A new collaborative project in the Baltic music scene has emerged with the release of the song "it drives me (out of my mind)" by Latvian band Sudden Lights and Estonian musician NOËP. This track, completed in the fall of 2025, showcases the unique musical styles of both artists, who are well beloved in the Baltic region, merging their talents into one piece. The collaboration was initiated in 2023 during the Eurovision Song Contest, where their teams first connected, leading to this inspiring project.

The creative process behind the song involved several months of collaboration, with NOËP and Sudden Lights working in both Tallinn and Riga. Despite their differing musical backgrounds, the artists found a wonderful synergy in their songwriting process. NOËP expressed that the atmosphere when they began crafting the song was fantastic, highlighting the strong teamwork that developed.
