Owners plan to expand the accommodation capacity of the Rajecké Teplice spa by 60%, adding new rehabilitation facilities, pools, and saunas with a total investment of 70 million euros.
The Rajecké Teplice spa, renowned for its profits and high standards, is set to undergo significant expansion. The owners, who have enjoyed remarkable profitability over recent years, are investing 70 million euros to enhance the spa's existing infrastructure. The expansion aims to increase accommodation capacity by 60%, which will include the construction of a new spa building next to the existing Aphrodite spa facility, adding 280 new beds across 140 rooms.
This investment is not only focused on increasing bed capacity but will also incorporate new treatment and rehabilitation facilities, swimming pools, and a state-of-the-art wellness center. Currently, the spa can accommodate up to 485 guests, and the planned upgrades are expected to cater to a broader clientele, accommodating even more visitors drawn to the therapeutic benefits and recreational opportunities in an upscale environment.
The family Miškolciovci, who owns the Rajecké Teplice spa, envisions creating a spa complex that meets European standards, thus positioning themselves as a leading wellness destination in Slovakia. As the spa and wellness tourism sector continues to grow, this significant investment reflects a confidence in the market, aiming to further capitalize on the popularity of therapeutic spa experiences among both national and international visitors.
