Rhythm. Body. Decadence: Cirk La Putyka bids farewell to the production Rest In Euphoria

Cirk La Putyka's production 'Rest In Euphoria' is an immersive cabaret experience that challenges traditional theater conventions, blending acrobatic feats with themes of freedom and intimacy.

Cirk La Putyka's latest production, 'Rest In Euphoria' (RIE), breaks away from conventional theater, presenting what can best be described as an immersive cabaret party. This show combines sweat, sequins, and absolute freedom, featuring an international cast of performers who engage in breathtaking disciplines, including hair hanging, cloud swings, and slack rope balancing. The performance is further enriched by the captivating live music of Slovak musician Katarzia, whose melodies weave through the acrobats' movements, testing the limits of physical capability and the strength of human intimacy.

The unique aspect of RIE lies in its open approach to nudity and corporeality, which not only provokes thought but also dismantles taboos surrounding the human body. As the performers demonstrate their skills and engage with audiences, they invite a dialogue about social norms and acceptance of the human form. This reflection on body image and freedom of expression is a central theme of the performance, encouraging a deeper understanding of personal and societal boundaries.

With a series of 34 performances, Cirk La Putyka will bid a final farewell to RIE, offering audiences one last chance to witness this extraordinary meeting of modern acrobatics and decadence. From March 2 to April 5, 2026, at Jatka78, the show promises to leave a lasting impression on its viewers, drawing them into a vibrant world where the line between performer and audience blurs, creating an unforgettable shared experience.
