Donald Duck is 'thirsty' for conquest; aiming for Russia, Colombia, and Chile
The Pascual Workers Cooperative is planning to expand its beverage exports to international markets, including Russia, Colombia, and Chile.
The Cooperativa Trabajadores de Pascual, known for its popular beverages like Boing and Pascual soda, is actively seeking to enter new overseas markets. During the inauguration of a distribution branch in Tizayuca, Hidalgo, Gregorio Neri, the Production and Sales Commissioner for the cooperative, announced negotiations are underway to export their products to Russia, with additional interest in Colombia and Chile. While specific timelines for these expansions were not provided, Neri noted that the negotiations are currently 40 percent complete.
In addition to international expansions, the cooperative is also focusing on strengthening its presence within Mexico, particularly in the northern and southeastern regions. Plans are in place to open new branches in Mérida, Yucatán, and a recent branch in Minatitlán, Veracruz, was launched three months prior. The cooperative aims to ensure that while they look internationally, they do not lose sight of domestic market opportunities.
Furthermore, Pascual has initiated a distribution project in Europe, primarily through independent representatives who promote their products, particularly in countries like the Netherlands and Germany. This multifaceted strategy highlights the cooperative's ambition not only to scale its production but also to create a broader customer base both domestically and internationally, which could significantly influence its business growth and brand recognition.
