José Antonio Loret de Mola Gómory has assumed the presidency of the Coordinating Business Council (CCE) in Yucatán, succeeding the National Chamber of the Transformation Industry (Canacintra). Under his leadership, the CCE aims to collaborate with the state government to tackle pressing issues such as the shortage of natural gas and to work towards lowering electricity tariffs. These efforts are crucial for boosting Yucatán's competitiveness, developing its industry, and attracting greater domestic and foreign investments.
During his first six months in office, Loret de Mola expressed his commitment to achieving these goals with the support of other business leaders in the region. He emphasized that the strength and representativeness of the CCE should stem from its member organizations, rather than the other way around. This collaborative approach is intended to unify the business community in addressing the challenges faced by the region effectively.
The focus on energy issues, particularly natural gas supplies and electricity costs, highlights the importance of infrastructure and reliable energy as key components for economic growth in Yucatán. With the potential to enhance the investment climate, Loret de Mola’s presidency may play a significant role in shaping the future of Yucatán's industrial landscape, positioning it as a competitive player on both national and international stages.
