In a tragic incident in Uttar Pradesh, a father and his daughter took their own lives by jumping in front of a train, with a suicide note implicating the mother in their decision.
A shocking case has emerged from Unnao district in Uttar Pradesh, where a father named Vikas Gupta, aged 50, and his 14-year-old daughter, Vedika, were found dead on the railway tracks. This incident occurred on the night of February 23, around 8:45 PM, when both took the drastic step to end their lives by jumping in front of an oncoming train. The police discovered the bodies near the Sahajani crossing and found a white car parked about 100 meters away, containing a mobile phone and a purse, along with a suicide note that blamed the wife for their tragic decision.
The forensic team and police gathered evidence from the site, and the bodies were sent for post-mortem examinations before they were cremated by family members. According to local police reports, Vikas Gupta had remarried after the death of his first wife and had been living with his second wife Doli. However, there were ongoing disputes between the couple. Family members have indicated that the relationship was contentious, and Vikas’s brother, Shivam, has accused Doli of contributing to the distress that led to this tragic event. The case highlights not only the despair experienced by those involved but also the complexities within family dynamics that can lead to such heartbreaking outcomes.
