Long-time Yle employee resigns
Markus Liimatainen, a long-time employee of Yleisradio, has resigned and shared his gratitude towards the organization and its colleagues on Instagram.
Markus Liimatainen, who has been a long-time employee of Finland's public broadcasting company Yleisradio (Yle), has announced his resignation via Instagram. In his post, he expressed heartfelt thanks to Yle and particularly to the wonderful colleagues he had the pleasure to work with throughout his tenure. Liimatainen highlighted some of his significant contributions over the years, including his roles in the Hyvin sanottu project, producing events for the Linnan juhlat, and hosting special broadcasts during the COVID-19 pandemic.

As he moves on to new challenges, Liimatainen revealed that he will be starting a position as a communications manager at Metsähallitus on March 23.
