Mexico is set to invest approximately 233 million dollars in a government-supported initiative known as the 'Fondo de Fondos,' which focuses on alternative assets. This investment represents the country's first fresh capital infusion in ten years, with the aim of financing various projects across Mexico. The executive director of the fund, Liliana Reyes Castrejón, outlined that the initiative is expected to receive a total of 4 billion pesos in capital this year, with funding sourced from national development banks, including Nacional Financiera and Banco Nacional de Comercio Exterior.

During an interview in Mexico City, Reyes indicated that investments will likely begin to materialize in the second half of the year as plans are finalized regarding the exact structure and investment vehicles.
