The operation was executed by the Criminal Investigation Sector of the 1st Police Station in the capital, reflecting a growing concern regarding the proliferation of unregistered medications and the potential health risks associated with their use. The woman was apprehended at her home and workplace after a search warrant was enacted, and she faces serious allegations concerning public safety and illegal trade practices.
After her arrest, the woman was taken to the police station, where she was heard before being released on a R$ 5,000 bail.
