Furthermore, cutting patches in half to reduce dosage is strictly discouraged, as it can alter the absorption rate and lead to dosing imbalances, which could be detrimental to patients' health.

Another critical point highlighted is the choice of application site on the skin. The area should be intact, free from any wounds, inflammation, eczema, allergies, scars, or tattoos.
