After 12 years, the case regarding the murder of three Missionary nuns in Burundi has led to the arrest of Harushimana Guillaume, linked to the crimes while also managing public funds in Italy.
After a lengthy 12-year investigation, law enforcement in Parma, Italy, have arrested Harushimana Guillaume, a 50-year-old originally from Burundi. He is heavily suspected of orchestrating the brutal murders of three nuns from the Congregation of the Missionary Sisters of Maria, who were killed in 2014 at a parish in a suburb of Bujumbura, Burundi. The victims were Sr. Olga Raschietti, 83, Sr. Lucia Pulici, 75, and Sr. Bernardetta Boggian, 79, and their horrific deaths involved beheading and other brutal methods by hired killers posing as altar boys.
