Ukrainian army destroys Russian radar equipment in Crimea
The Ukrainian army struck two Russian radar systems in occupied Crimea, according to Ukraine's General Staff.
In a recent military operation, the Ukrainian armed forces targeted and destroyed two Russian radar systems located in the occupied Crimean peninsula. The attack specifically aimed at the P-18 radar station and the RSP-6M2 radar system, which were positioned in the town of Dzhankoy. This action signals Ukraine's ongoing efforts to disable Russian military capabilities in the region, especially as tensions continue to escalate in the area.
Additionally, the Ukrainian forces eliminated a control point for Russian drones in the Novozlatopil district of the occupied Zaporizhzhia region. This strike not only disrupts the surveillance abilities of Russian forces but also indicates a focused strategy by Ukraine to make significant inroads into Russian military infrastructure. The operational tempo appears to be increasing, with a broad array of targets being engaged by Ukraine.
Further compounding these developments, Ukrainian forces also launched strikes targeting concentrations of Russian troops around the Rodinske area in Donetsk Oblast, as well as a command point of the Russian army in Yasnoje Solnce located in Bryansk, Russia. These actions highlight the strategic importance of denying the Russian military the ability to regroup and consolidate, thereby maintaining the offensive momentum that Ukraine has sought amid the conflict.
