Eligijus Masiulis, the former leader of Lithuania’s Liberal Movement and an ex-minister, has recently published a memoir entitled "White Collars Unraveled". In this book, he reveals how he learned about potential connections between Lithuania and the global financial scandal known as "Swiss Leaks", which emerged in 2015. He mentions that he was informed by an acquaintance about the presence of influential Lithuanian figures, including politicians, civil servants, judges, law enforcement representatives, and businesspeople, among the leaked clients of the Swiss bank HSBC Geneva.
