Sweden's signal intelligence agency has advised increased vigilance in the energy sector due to potential sabotage threats.
On Thursday, reports emerged regarding threats of sabotage against the Nordic energy systems, including Sweden's, from foreign powers. Several government agencies confirmed that they had received this information, leading to heightened concerns within the energy sector. The Swedish National Defence Radio Establishment (FRA), which specializes in signal intelligence, issued warnings to energy sector stakeholders, although they clarified that there is currently no specific threat to Sweden's electrical grid.
