ISPRA has introduced a new digital platform designed to transform sustainable finance from a regulatory obligation into a competitive opportunity, presenting it at a conference in the Chamber.
ISPRA has unveiled its new 'Platform for the sustainability of finance and businesses' aimed at enhancing sustainable finance by providing scientifically validated environmental indicators. This platform is rooted in the 2024 technical document 'The Environmental Challenge for Sustainable Finance' which focuses on enabling businesses, financial operators, and SMEs to rigorously calculate their direct and indirect emissions, including greenhouse gases and pollutants, as well as various types of impacts and physical risks. The platform is expected to be operational and accessible to users after the summer of 2026 and was introduced during a conference titled 'Environmental Challenges and Competitiveness: ISPRA's Tools for Businesses, Finance, and the Insurance World.'
