Cássio Henrique da Silva Zampieri, a 25-year-old man, is currently hospitalized under police guard after a violent incident where he fatally stabbed his ex-girlfriend Cibelle Monteiro Alves, 22, in a jewelry store at the Golden Square Shopping Mall in São Bernardo do Campo, Brazil. The incident unfolded when Zampieri, unable to accept the end of their six-year relationship, took Cibelle hostage, causing panic among store employees and shoppers. Unfortunately, Cibelle succumbed to her injuries, having been stabbed in the neck, while Zampieri engaged in a standoff with police, ultimately leading to him being shot in the leg when he threatened officers with what turned out to be a fake gun.
