Psychologist issues advice to anyone having sex between 10.30pm and 11.30pm

A psychologist advises that the best time for couples to have sex is in the morning rather than late at night due to unfavorable hormonal changes.

Dr. Michael Breus, known as the Sleep Doctor, advises couples about the best time for intimacy, highlighting that many typically engage in sexual activity between 10.30pm and 11.30pm. He explains that during this time, individuals' hormone levels are not optimal, which can impact the experience negatively. Hormones involved in mood and libido, such as estrogen, testosterone, and cortisol, are at levels that do not facilitate a healthy sexual experience, while melatonin, which promotes sleep, is elevated.
