Four men arrested for a kidnapping attempt thwarted by the victim's dog biting

In Polinyà de Xúquer, Valencia, the Civil Guard has arrested four members of a criminal group for attempting to kidnap a woman in her home. The incident occurred when the woman heard noises at her door, and upon opening it, she was forcefully pushed inside by one of the assailants. During the struggle, her dog intervened, biting the intruder and thereby preventing the kidnapping.
The victim reported that the intruder was an unknown male with an Eastern European accent who aggressively commanded her to 'come with me'. Due to the altercation, the woman sustained injuries requiring medical attention. The timely intervention of her dog was pivotal in thwarting the kidnapping attempt, highlighting the role of pets in protecting their owners in dangerous situations.
Following the incident, law enforcement reviewed local security camera footage and identified that the assault involved four hooded individuals.
