NTA CUET UG Registration Window Re-Opened, Know Until When It Will Remain Open
The NTA has re-opened the registration window for the Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG 2026), allowing students who missed the initial application deadline another opportunity to apply.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the re-opening of the registration window for the Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG 2026), enabling students who wish to enroll in graduate programs to submit their applications. This window opened on February 23 and will remain open until the evening of February 26, 2026, presenting a crucial opportunity for those who were unable to register previously due to various reasons.
In the notification issued by NTA, they stated that the decision to re-open the registration window was based on numerous requests received from students. Recognizing the importance of accessibility for students, the application window has been extended for four days, ensuring that aspiring candidates have the chance to participate in the CUET exam. This extension demonstrates NTA's responsiveness to student needs and highlights the significance of the CUET exam in facilitating admissions to various undergraduate programs.
As students fill out their CUET UG applications, they must also pay the applicable fees, which vary based on the category and subjects chosen. For general category students applying for three subjects, the fee is set at ₹1000, while OBC/EWS candidates must pay ₹900, and lower fees apply for SC/ST/PWD candidates. This structured fee system underscores the NTA's approach to make higher education admissions more accessible and fair for all students, regardless of their financial backgrounds.
