Tivoli has announced the lineup for this year's Fredagsrock, featuring both Danish and international artists performing from April through September.
Tivoli, the famous amusement park in Copenhagen, is gearing up for this year's Fredagsrock, which kicks off on April 10 with performances by the Danish bands When Saints Go Machine and Spleen United. The series of concerts will see numerous artists grace the stage every Friday throughout the spring and summer, culminating on September 11 with a performance by Dizzy Mizz Lizzy. This announcement has generated excitement among fans and marks the return of vibrant musical entertainment at the iconic venue.
The lineup reveals a mix of well-known Danish performers including hip-hop trio Malk de Koijn, the group Gnags, the self-proclaimed most boring band in Denmark, tv-2, and X Factor judge Drew Sycamore. Additionally, international stars will also feature, such as the R&B group TLC, known for hits like 'Waterfalls' and 'No Scrubs,' set to perform on July 12. The inclusion of such diverse artists showcases Tivoli's commitment to providing a wide-ranging cultural experience and highlights the venue's established reputation as a hub for both local and global music acts.
Moreover, the lineup also includes Rick Astley, the iconic singer who gained fame in the late 1980s with 'Never Gonna Give You Up.' Astley has found personal happiness in Denmark, making his performance even more special for fans. With this exciting array of talents while blending local and international music scenes, Tivoli's Fredagsrock promises to be a highlight in Copenhagen's cultural calendar this year.
