Mostly sunny with no precipitation. Meteorologists have said where it will be warmest this weekend

Czech meteorologists predict predominantly sunny weather with above-average temperatures for the upcoming weekend, although some areas may experience lingering fog and low cloud cover.

Weather forecasts in Czechia indicate mostly sunny conditions and above-average temperatures in the coming days, with no precipitation expected. On Friday, temperatures could reach up to 16 degrees Celsius, but regions experiencing fog and low cloudiness, particularly in Moravia, may only see temperatures around ten degrees.

A slight cooling is predicted for the weekend, particularly on Sunday, with potential for frost during the night and early morning, according to the Czech Hydrometeorological Institute (ČHMÚ). Thursday morning experienced clear skies in many locations, although some areas saw a frosty start, indicative of the still early spring season. Meteorologists warned that the prevalent fog in parts of Bohemia could reduce visibility and temperatures, dropping to as low as minus ten degrees Celsius in frost valleys in the Jizera Mountains and Šumava regions.

While sunny conditions are expected during the day, low cloud cover may persist in certain areas, particularly in the west. Temperatures are forecasted to be above average, ranging between six to eleven degrees Celsius, contributing to an overall pleasant spring-like atmosphere for those in the country over the upcoming weekend. This is a positive outlook for outdoor activities that many residents may be planning, following winter's colder spells.
