The Universe of Wajnberg – An Innovative Narrative Map of the Life and Work of Mieczysław Wajnberg and the Return of Passenger to the Stage of the Grand Theatre - National Opera

A digital, bilingual narrative map is being created to showcase the life and work of composer Mieczysław Wajnberg, featuring multimedia content and expert contributions.

A bilingual narrative map is at the center of a planned portal dedicated to the life and works of composer Mieczysław Wajnberg. Each point on the map will be enriched with multimedia materials, archival documents, literary and analytical texts, and external links leading to current sources, festivals, publications, and performances. This innovative approach aims to create a new way of storytelling that combines curatorial, literary, and research perspectives with advanced digital tools.

The project is being developed in collaboration with an international group of experts who specialize in Wajnberg's work. Literary scholar Dr. Magdalena Piotrowska-Grot is preparing the biographical and intertextual layers of the narrative, while Maria Borzobohata-Sawicka will handle translations. The graphic design is managed by the Witryna Studio, which aims to create a cohesive, intuitive, and fully accessible visual concept. The technological implementation is led by the Koncept 304 team, who will facilitate advanced navigation on the map and the integration of multimedia content and tools.

This innovative initiative not only celebrates the legacy of Wajnberg but also enhances the accessibility of information on his contributions to music. By integrating various forms of media and expert narratives, the project promises to engage a broader audience and foster a deeper understanding of Wajnberg’s artistic influence and the significance of his work in contemporary culture.
