The Korean government has announced that starting next month, the oral COVID-19 treatment will be limited to Paxlovid only, as Lagrevio will no longer be available due to stock depletion.
In a recent announcement, the Korean Disease Control Agency confirmed that the oral COVID-19 treatment options will be restricted solely to Paxlovid, effective from next month. Lagrevio, another oral treatment, will cease to be used starting from the 17th of the next month due to the exhaustion of its available stock. This decision comes amid the country's ongoing management of COVID-19 treatment supplies, which also include an injection treatment called Becluvir.
