This is the sofa that fits a newlyweds' home... Naver introduces 'Shopping AI Assistant'

Naver has launched a 'Shopping AI Assistant' feature within its shopping app to help users find optimized product recommendations based on their shopping queries.

Naver has announced the release of its beta 1.0 version of a 'Shopping AI Assistant' in its shopping app 'Naver Plus Store'. This feature allows users to input shopping-related queries, and the AI analyzes vast amounts of data to recommend optimized products, thereby reducing the burden of product searches. For instance, if a user searches for "sofa", the assistant will analyze their shopping history and suggest various tips based on factors like user number, space size, and material, along with suitable brands. Furthermore, the AI assistant enhances the shopping experience by enabling users to have detailed conversations regarding specific needs. For example, if a user states, "Recommend a sofa for a newlywed home, and I have a dog," the assistant will analyze key product features and reviews to compare several product groups and propose optimal candidates. Currently, the beta version focuses on digital, living, and lifestyle categories, with plans to expand into beauty and food in the near future, as well as incorporating features like real-time shopping trend analysis and automatic related product recommendations. Naver aims to optimize the performance of the Shopping AI Assistant by designing it to work synergistically with specialized sub-agents for different functions. By integrating its own models with external ones and utilizing a commerce-specialized large language model called 'Shopping Intelligence', which learns from data about prices, delivery, product specifications, and user preferences, the company has significantly enhanced the operational efficiency of this service.
