In a recent address, Antonio Morales Díaz, the mayor of Tapalpa, Jalisco, reported that tranquility has returned to the area following the death of Nemesio Oseguera, known as 'El Mencho', the head of the Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG). After a military operation, El Mencho was killed while being transported to Mexico City, leading to unrest in the region.
