The incident occurred around two in the morning, when around six masked criminals entered the house from the back while the couple was sleeping. After terrorizing the couple, the robbers searched through cupboards and boxes, making off with approximately 500,000 rupees in cash and an estimated 10 million rupees worth of gold and silver jewelry.
