Salim Khan, a veteran Bollywood screenwriter and father of Salman Khan, has been recovering since his hospitalization on February 17 at Lilavati Hospital, following a minor brain surgery that initially placed him on a ventilator in ICU. After nine days in critical condition, Aamir Khan provided an update during a recent event, revealing that Salim's health has significantly improved. Aamir emphasized the collective prayers of the family and friends wishing for Salim's swift recovery.

During an interaction with the media, Aamir shared that despite being unable to visit Salim personally due to his stay in ICU, he has been in regular contact with Salim's family, specifically his daughter Alvira. Aamir conveyed that Alvira had been keeping him informed about her father's gradual recovery, and he expressed hope that Salim would soon return home, stating, "We're all praying for his health to improve soon."

Actress Daisy Shah also confirmed Salim's improving condition before Aamir's comments, mentioning that while she couldn't visit the hospital, she has been in constant contact with his family.
