Remains of two National Guard agents arrive in Tabasco who died in operation against 'El Mencho'

The remains of two National Guard agents, who died during an operation against ‘El Mencho’, have been transported to Tabasco for posthumous honors.

On Wednesday, the National Guard announced the arrival of the remains of two of its members at the Carlos Rovirosa Pérez International Airport in Villahermosa, Tabasco. The agents, one from Tabasco and the other from Chiapas, lost their lives during an operation aimed at capturing the leader of the Jalisco New Generation Cartel, Nemesio Oseguera Cervantes, also known as ‘El Mencho’. The transfer of their remains was conducted to enable their families to pay their respects and receive posthumous honors.
