Marciele Albuquerque, known for her participation in BBB 26 and as the cunhã-poranga of Boi Caprichoso, has been awarded the honorary title of citizen of Amazonas by the State Legislative Assembly (Aleam). This recognition was approved on Wednesday, reflecting her contributions to the regional culture and indigenous rights. Marciele, an indigenous woman from the Munduruku people and a native of Juruti in Pará, has gained acclaim for her role in promoting the Boi-Bumbá Caprichoso at the Festival de Parintins since 2017.

The proposal for the honorary title was presented by Deputy Wilker Barreto, who acknowledged Marciele's influence not only as an artist but also as a leader and entrepreneur fighting for indigenous rights. He originally submitted the proposal in November 2025, expressing his belief that Marciele's work has had a significant cultural impact.
