Forensic experts from Kaunas have confirmed that the cause of death for a 1-year-old boy found dead in the Kaunas district was due to an unfortunate accident. This comes after the boy's autopsy was conducted, revealing no foul play. The incident occurred when the child was playing with his sister before falling unconscious in bed shortly thereafter.

The tragic situation unfolded on a Monday evening when the boy, aged 1 year and 2 months, played happily with his sister before lying down to rest. After 10 minutes, family members noticed that he was unresponsive and had lost consciousness. His father quickly contacted emergency services and attempted to revive his son using instructions provided by the dispatcher. The first responders arrived within approximately 12 minutes to continue resuscitation efforts, which unfortunately were unsuccessful.

Despite the immediate response from medical personnel, the child was pronounced dead around 20:37. This incident has sparked discussions regarding potential medical errors following the child's death, raising concerns among the community about the circumstances surrounding the case and the urgency of medical responses in such crises.
