Former Head of CBA at Orlen. Paweł Wojtunik in the company's management
Paweł Wojtunik has been appointed as a member of the management board responsible for Security and Risk at Orlen.
Orlen announced the appointment of Paweł Wojtunik to its management board as a member responsible for Security and Risk, effective February 25, 2026. This follows the resignation of Orlen's president Ireneusz Fąfara and another board member Sławomir Staszak from the supervisory board of Energy, which is part of the Orlen group. Wojtunik’s appointment is part of a broader restructuring within the company as it continues to enhance its governance and risk management frameworks.
Paweł Wojtunik brings extensive experience to this new role, having previously served as the head of the Central Anti-Corruption Bureau (CBA) in Poland from 2009 to 2015. In his tenure at the CBA, he was instrumental in leading anti-corruption efforts and overseeing significant national investigations. His background in law enforcement, alongside his experience in managing large organizations, positions him uniquely to address security and risk within Orlen, a key player in the Polish energy sector.
Wojtunik's dual expertise in public administration and the financial sector is expected to strengthen Orlen's operations and compliance measures. As the company navigates complex challenges in the energy market, his leadership could be pivotal in enhancing strategic decision-making and operational integrity at Orlen, contributing to its long-term stability and growth in a highly regulated environment.
