Edson Cardoso dos Santos, also known as "Cachoeira do Bolo," who serves as the president of the City Council of Sobradinho in Brazil, was arrested alongside six others on suspicion of participating in fraudulent schemes related to public contracts. The arrests took place during the Operation Kit Dispensa, initiated by the Civil Police on Wednesday, October 25.
