Boom of schools at the Repubblica exhibition. Here are the upcoming talks

The Repubblica exhibition in Rome has seen significant attendance from schools, with over 1,300 students visiting and numerous discussions scheduled involving journalists and topics related to women in journalism.

The Repubblica exhibition, celebrating the 50th anniversary of the newspaper, has achieved notable success among schools, attracting 1,300 students from 70 different schools since January. This exhibition is hosted at the Mattatoio in Rome and is open until March 15, showcasing the evolution and future of journalism. A series of live events takes place every Saturday, featuring prominent journalists from Repubblica sharing their insights on the field's history and perspectives.

On February 28, two key talks are planned. The first features Simonetta Fiori in conversation with Clotilde Veltri, focusing on 'The Women Who Made Repubblica.' This discussion aims to illuminate the vital contributions of female journalists who have successfully navigated a traditionally male-dominated industry. Fiori emphasizes the importance of exploring women's relationships with power, generational transmission, and the ongoing struggle for freedom and representation within newsrooms.

In the afternoon session, Angelo Rinaldi and Francesco Franchi will present on the innovative drive within journalism. These engagements not only celebrate the landmark anniversary of Repubblica but also foster an important dialogue about the role of women in media and the broader context of journalistic evolution, encouraging future generations to reflect on these critical topics.
