Wrexham AFC is facing difficulties following a sickness bug that has spread amongst the players, according to manager Phil Parkinson. The team managed to secure a vital 2-1 win over Portsmouth at their home ground, Racecourse Ground, but the illness has left several key players fighting to perform at their best. Parkinson noted that despite a dominant first half where Wrexham took a 2-0 lead, fatigue and the effects of the sickness were evident in the second half of the match.
