The Mezi Ploty Festival, scheduled for May 30 and 31 in the park of the Bohnice Psychiatric Hospital, is set to showcase more than a hundred performers this year, including the renowned pop-rock band Lucie, who will be making their debut at the event. According to Petra Makarjevová, who represents the festival's organizers, this year’s festival will also commemorate the upcoming 90th birthday of the late former president Václav Havel, which falls on October 5.

The festival continues to be patronized by director Václav Marhoul, who will host a series called 'Tuláci po hvězdách,' where he engages with various personalities. The multi-genre program will feature performances on ten festival stages by artists including Divokej Bill, No Name, Xindl X, Marpo, Kateřina Marie Tichá, Martina Pártlová, Adam Mišík, Poletíme?, Michal Hrůza, Tomáš Klus, Vosto5, Tomáš Matonoha, and Lukáš Pavlásek, indicating a rich variety of entertainment for attendees.

In addition to music, festival-goers can also experience the performance 'Antiwords,' inspired by Havel's play 'Audience,' presented by the physical and experimental theater group Spitfire Company. Other Havel-themed performances will be showcased by Vršovické divadlo MANA and Divadlo na, adding a reflective aspect to the festival that celebrates culture and history relevant to Czech society.
