In contrast, the orange alert warns of significantly more severe weather conditions, with expected rainfall between 30 to 600 millimeters per hour and wind gusts reaching up to 100 km/h. This alert highlights an increased risk for power cuts, falling trees, flooding, and lightning strikes, especially in the affected Sertão cities.
