On Wednesday afternoon, police in Skien responded to multiple reports of an ongoing fight. According to operational leader Ståle Olstad Fuglaas, the scene revealed that one individual had been struck with a baseball bat and a knuckleduster. Furthermore, it was reported that a gun had been brandished and also used to strike the victim. However, Fuglaas noted that there were no indications that any shots had been fired during the incident.

The victim was found on the ground receiving first aid from the police until an ambulance arrived to take over the medical assistance. Initial reports indicated that the victim was conscious as they were transported to the emergency room with an unclear degree of sustained injuries.
