At the opening ceremony of the 2026 Winter Paralympic Games in Verona, Croatian para-skiers Dino Sokolović and Lucija Smetiško have been chosen to carry the national flag. This announcement was made by the Croatian Paralympic Committee as excitement builds towards the event scheduled from March 6 to 15, 2026. The Games, marking their 14th edition, are anticipated to bring approximately 700 para-athletes from around 30 countries to compete, adding to the prestige and visibility of para-sports on a global stage.
