Reports claim that the Math is a five-story structure with a swimming pool, leading to concerns and criticism from various quarters. Neel Mani Shastri, a disciple of the esteemed Swami Swaroopanand Saraswati and long-associated with the Math, has come forward to clarify and defend the institution amid these controversies.

In her statements, Neel Mani Shastri addressed the allegations, asserting that the Math does not educate girls, as they have a separate ashram for female students. She emphasized that the Math primarily caters to Vedic Brahmin boys, for whom attendance and records are meticulously maintained. The claimed swimming pool was further clarified as a health-related water load and not a luxury facility, thereby urging people to view these accusations through a more factual lens rather than sensationalism.

Moreover, Shastri described the allegations against Swami Avimukteshwaranand as an assault on Sanatan Dharma, arguing that the criticisms are unfounded and politically motivated. She expressed confidence that an investigation would reveal the truth, urging supporters of the Math and the Swami to remain assured in the principled nature of their institution amidst the unfolding controversy.
