Julia Gabriela Bravin Trovão, a 29-year-old woman, succumbed to her injuries after being shot by her ex-partner, Diego Sansalone, in Botucatu, São Paulo. The incident took place on the night of Saturday, April 21, and Trovão spent three days in critical condition at the Hospital das Clínicas da Faculdade de Medicina de Botucatu before her death was confirmed on Tuesday, April 24. Her current partner, Diego Felipe Corrêa da Silva, was also a victim in the attack, having been shot at the scene and dying instantly.

The tragic event unfolded on Avenida Cecília Lourenção in the Residencial Ouro Verde area when Sansalone fired shots at the vehicle in which Trovão, her current partner, and two children were traveling, one of whom was Trovão's child from her previous relationship.
