A man aspiring to study early childhood education in Australia had his visa canceled after child abuse material was allegedly discovered on his phone upon arrival at Adelaide Airport.
Australian Border Force (ABF) detained a Chinese national who had arrived at Adelaide Airport on a student visa, intending to study early childhood education. Officers conducted a baggage examination and allegedly found 21 videos classified as child abuse material on his phone. Following the discovery, the man was given a $660 fine for the offense and was promptly removed from the country on the next available flight.
The ABF expressed grave concern about the incident, highlighting the significance of ensuring that individuals who may pose a threat to vulnerable populations, particularly children, are not allowed entry into Australia.
